The Pioneer
Afuwape Abiola Chris. didn’t set out to build a transport and energy company. He set out to solve a problem that millions of Africans face every day: how do you get from point A to point B without losing time, dignity, or hope?
Raised in Lagos, Nigeria and shaped by global experiences, Abiola saw firsthand how infrastructure can either empower or exclude. He watched cities choke on traffic, communities go dark from unstable grids, and brilliant ideas stall because the systems weren’t built for us. So he decided to build differently. With a heart wired for impact, Abiola founded AxisMetro System, not just as a company, but as a mission. He believes that innovation doesn’t have to wait for perfect conditions—it just needs courageous people.
